Must read if you want
to get perfect body composition
Research has shown that
exercise programs which include both aerobic exercise and
resistance training are most
effective in improving body composition. Dieting alone results in muscle loss
and metabolic rate reduction, causing a decrease in lean body mass resulting in
little or no change in body composition. Flexibility and agility training will
improve range of motion and a person’s ability to change direction with speed
and precision, but will not necessarily improve body composition. Pilates will
aid in developing muscular balance and flexibility, but it alone is not
effective in creating large improvements in body composition. A high protein
diet may result in weight reduction in the short term due to water loss, but in
the long term can lead to heart disease, stroke, and osteoporosis, if a person
is consuming more protein than needed.
Why do you need a Personal Trainer?
If you decide to do
something about your body, and you want to get in shape, you NEED
a Personal Trainer for several reasons:
-
Personal Trainers will help
motivate you and keep you on track.
-
Personal Trainers will create
a personalized-just-for-you exercise routine to focus on
your needs, so you can get results faster.
-
Personal Trainers will push
you to stay on track.
-
Personal Trainers will show
you how to eat proper.
-
Personal Trainers will show
you some healthy alternatives to other foods that you may want to eat.
-
Personal Trainers will show
you the correct size proportions to eat, because it isn't just what to eat,
but eating the right amounts, that will make a difference.
-
Personal Trainers will teach
you a healthier lifestyle.
-
Great Personal Trainers will
follow the advice from your doctor and work together with your doctor,
rather than against your doctor. A good Personal Trainer is well-trained at
dealing with health problems. They only request a doctor’s approval to begin
a personalized work-out routine.
Why I
believe you can’t do it on your own or through
Videos, DVD’s, and TV?
-
The main reason is because
you cannot motivate yourself enough and you cannot watch
yourself for proper form to prevent injuries.
-
You may never start them in
the first place and when you start, there is nobody to motivate you, so you
can cheat all you want.
-
Most people give up after a
while, because it gets boring after a while and they rather are with a real
live person than with a TV, Video, or DVD.
-
Aren’t we trying to
watch LESS TV after all?
-
People get tired of doing the
same old routine with little or no results. Boredom takes over and they
quit.
-
There are no “Questions and
Answers” when you work out alone or with TV, Video, or DVD. Where do you go
when you need a question answered? Your Personal Trainer will have answers
to your questions.
-
Same training routine day in
day out.
So what
is the solution?
Hire a Qualified Personal Fitness Trainer, like
myself, to keep you motivated and provide you with
exercise routines that are interesting and that will
actually work along with proper advice about eating
habits.
Fitness trainers are qualified experts in analyzing
and creating a fitness program that is right for
you and your goals. If you are
considering a Fitness Trainer, keep on reading!
What to look for in a Personal Trainer?
Here are some factors to consider when
hiring a Personal Fitness Trainer like myself:
1. Certifications
I am Ace Certified and I hold certifications for CPR, First-Aid, and AED. This
will give you the EXTRA over other trainers and give you more value for your
money.
-
ACE®-certified Professionals are the
most sought after and respected fitness instructors in the world. Known for
their inspiration, dedication and knowledge, they train and educate their
clients on safe and effective exercise techniques and motivate them to
achieve healthier lifestyles.
-
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency first aid
procedure for a victim of cardiac arrest.
-
First Aid
is the provision of limited care for an illness or injury, which is
provided, usually by a lay person, to a sick or injured patient until
definitive medical treatment can be accessed, or until the illness or injury
is dealt with. It generally consists of series of simple, sometimes life
saving, medical techniques, that an individual, either with or without
formal medical training, can be trained to perform with minimal equipment.
-
An automated
external defibrillator (AED) is a portable electronic device that
diagnoses and treats cardiac arrest in a critically ill patient by
re-establishing an effective heart rhythm. This treatment is called
defibrillation, which applies an electric shock to the entire heart muscle,
uniformly clearing the electrical activity of the heart, and hopefully
allowing it to resynchronize.
2. Insurance
I have Fitness and Wellness Insurance. Only a certified personal trainer
is able to get insurance for his clients. Those that don’t have insurance are
either amateurs or non-certified trainers.
3. Business License
I have a
Los Angeles City Professional
Business License.
All professionals doing business in Los Angeles need a Business License by law.
Personal Trainers without a business license are amateurs and aren't serious
about the profession. I hold an active Business License under Consolidated
Executive Entertainment Group, Inc. (aka CEEG, Inc.)
4. Attention
I will provide you undivided attention at all times during your session.
I won’t be eating, chatting on the phone, or with other people, and I will not
be text-messaging. During your session, I will only focus on you.
I will stay focused on the task ensuring that you are performing the exercises
safely and correctly.
5. Keep a record
I will keep a record of all your sessions, so we don’t have to guess the next
time. Choose a fitness trainer that knows how to track progress and implement
the required changes.
This way, the trainer will be able to provide new activities that will match
your new fitness level.
6. Great personality
I have a great personality and I am a great listener, so I will pay attention to
what you have to say. It makes sense that we have to like each other, because we
will be spending some time together, and therefore I will make sure that you
like me and be comfortable.
My services as a Personal Trainer and the results
you will achieve with me are much greater than doing it alone, and I will keep
you on track and motivated, which will definitely guarantee that you reach your
goals this time.
