Michael Ball picked up a camera for the first time at the tender age of nine.  Folks in his hometown of Antwerp, Belgium quickly became used to young Michael shooting photos of everyone and everything in his path.  In 1994, Michael moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment business.  He procured an agent right away and found immediate success as both a model and actor.  But Michael never forgot his passion for photography.   After years in front of the camera, he decided to move behind it once again.  

He began shooting his fellow actors and models in order to provide them with exceptional photos for their agents and portfolios.  His experience in front of the camera allowed him to create photographs that were eye-catching and unique while bringing out the very best in the individuals who posed for him.  After receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from Hollywood agencies, Michael started to shoot professionally. 

Michael is now an international photographer, based in Los Angeles, who shoots 35 mm film and digital. His main area of specialization is portrait photography for adults, children and pets.  Michael also creates extraordinarily lovely Artistic Nudes for both individuals and couples.
